In Home Meal Prep

First, Let's debunk the # 1 myth about a Personal Chef
#1 Myth: Personal Chefs work for the Rich and Famous
There is a common misconception that personal chefs are too expensive for the average person. However, if we do the math you'll be pleasantly surprise that having a personal chef can actually save you time and money.
_______
Eating Out
Many people resort to eating outside of the home 4-5 times per week, due to convenience. Aside from the known fact that frequent eating out is associated with foods higher in calories, sodium sugar, and overall things that are just not good for you. On average a meal with a beverage, appetizer and an entree for one person at a restaurant comes to approximately $25 plus tax and gratuity. Now multiple this by 5 times a week and by the number of people in your family.
______
Eating In
If you were to cook healthy meals at home, the USDA estimates that a family with 2 adults and 2 children would spend on average $250 a week. Now let's factor in time spent grocery shopping (roughly 1-2 hrs), time spent preparing meals and cleaning up (roughly 1 hr each night) and gas money. Using a personal chef service, you'd still be paying the grocery cost, but you'd be saving 8-16 hours of your time per week. You can use that extra valuable time doing something that you enjoy.
______
A Better Option
If you're interested in avoiding overly processed foods, saving money on your grocery bills and more importantly saving time during your week and coming home to a clean kitchen and a delicious healthy meal made from scratch, then a In Home Personal Chef should be your option for healthy meal prep.
